Default Loss of power to wheels

Was driving my 1989 944S2 and had a sudden loss of power to the wheels. I can now shift the car into different gears without pressing the clutch with no change. There are no noises when I shift this way. The clutch was changed 20,000 miles ago along with the pertinent parts in the clutch housing. If I depress the clutch I hear a ticking noise.

I've checked the rear axles and both are properly bolted on.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Driveshaft to transmission coupler?

Sounds like something has broken between the clutch disk and the input gear cluster.
