Aftermarket 944 Control arms. Retail pricing seems a bit off...

I've spent too much time on these as it is. If anyone needs an old set of late offset control arms, I have set for dimensions.

These are the same style we have been using in NASCAR for years. They thread into the LCA and are super easy to replace. I did a bunch of testing on these for the engineering department at Michael Waltrip Racing.

Please don't let the smart *** comments deter the serious effort some of you are making to get this project completed. Good luck and know that there are many interested in the final product.

Just got off the phone with Howe Precision products. These guy can make a screw in ball joint to spec. Minimum order of 50 is required. Cool stuff. GREAT suggestion.

I looked them up the howe precision ones at summit racing and they are around $70 - $90 each, and appear to be made for only for buicks, pontiacs, etc.
Summit also sells a Moog ball joint for 944's for $39 each: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
However, when you click on the applications link, the site says these are for 83-85 944 convertibles only. ???

That's cool. I didn't think the price was too bad, but was more concerned about fitment to our spindles. Maybe the pins can be dis-assembled from them and turned down to fit our spindles (assuming we can find some that are larger than 17mm).
