turbo my na?
just kidding...
i'd like to make the window edges on the 944/968 have less rubber showing, like more modern cars, anyone know how to do this?

i mean if you look at a current 911, the window borders have no rubber, its flush to the car body, the 944, on the other hand, has 1" of rubber around all the windows.
even the 968 rear/passenger windows have less rubber than the 944 windows...

ive actually had two 944's... look what you get when you ask a genuine question.
its funny how it seems the the 944 people on this board think they are so special and knowledgeable because they own a $3000 porsche that is slower than a honda civic, this board is becomming almost useless with a scarcity of good info lately, when i first joined it years ago it was very valuable, but now its just white trash who can't afford a 911 trying to **** on everyone, kind of sad, but you are who you are.

944J, there are jerks on every forum. Don't let them get you down.
Is the extra rubber functional? What if you cut it, or manually mounted the windows somehow? Get a parts car and experiment.

While I agree that this BBS ebbs and flows and at the moment isn't quite what it used to be (boy I sound old!), for the most part it isn't that bad and is still way better than most other automotive forums out there.
In regards to the 911 comment above, I know I am not white trash and frankly could have a 911 or any other porsche I desire. I have a good education and a well-paying job. But I chose to purchase a 944 because I simply like 944's. You can't judge me because of the car that I drive, no more than I can say that you are a white trash idiot for posting something like you did in this original post.
Correct?
