im not talking about anything drastic, just a different method of sealing the edges of the windows to give a seamless edge, would look great in my opinion esp on this car

it just goes to show how useless this site is lately... long threads about parting cars and pizza runs, but short on tech support... and if you do get tech support you have to fight through a bunch of morons telling you to get a black car or that you painted your wheels red (previous post of when i painted my old 944) when it's totally obvious.

Once it has a turbo bolted to it, by definition it is no longer an "N/A".

I imagine it's hard to come up with new questions that haven't been answered by Rennlist already. The archives are huge. Your question seemed genuine and I would probably guess that nobody has posted something asking about a window-rubber-(delete)/update. If you visualize something and you believe it would look okay on the car-- go ahead and fabricate yourself nuts. You never know, it may end up looking good and keep others from having to buy rubber and aluminum strips when they do full restorations.

Good luck on your search and journey to more modern looking window moldings!

Take a 968 window and try to somehow mount that in place of the old 944 window

First, a word to the wise. Never wrestle with a pig in the mud. Once you both get sufficiently dirty, people will unable to tell the difference between you and the pig.

Second, a comment regarding wealth.

I suppose we have many political conservatives on this board, and while conservatives are by and large fine and decent people, they still do seem to suffer from the unfortunate idea that the dignity of a man is somehow equal to the size of his bank account. I think that this is based upon the questionable belief that the universe is fundamentally fair, and if someone gets the short end of the stick, he or she must somehow have deserved it.

And yet elsewhere on this board, at this moment, I see people who are obviously not at all flush chipping in to help out a stranger whose misfortune has placed him in need, offering not just their money, which is easily done, but their valuable time, which everyone has only a finite amount of, and can never get back.

I have known, in my life, both the very wealthy and the very broke, and I find them to fundamentally the same, both groups having an equal portion of geniuses and idiots, the energetic and the lackadaisical, the courteous and the rude, the considerate and the selfish.

The only difference that I notice is the poor are often forced, out of sheer necessity, to help and rely on each other. They have had a life full of object lessons that no man is an island.

I think that as the American empire starts to crumble, more of us are going to have to learn that lesson, just as the former Soviet states did.

Anyway, I am sorry that you got a snarky response which upset you. But perhaps the best way to deal with your anger is not to flail about random, attempting to wreak some form of vengeance upon anyone within reach, but to demonstrate superior maturity and show your own worth.

People are not "trash", white or otherwise, because they lack money. They are trash when they behave without dignity.
