yea with that short of a snout....placement is gonna be wierd.

also, the air inlet port....wierd rectangle instead of normal round hole. it looks like that inlet is cast. at least the outlet you can swap out with those 4 bolts.

.....or is the rectangle one the outlet and the square bolt manifold the inlet.......

the funky pipe that curves around is the outlet pipe, the little part that sticks out on the opposite side is the intake.

ah my intuition was correct. thanks for verifying. normally i see eatons with inlet on the opposite side of the pulley end and outlet on the bottom

I feel the main problem when it comes to my belt slippage is the lower pulley size. It really is pretty small to drive a blower. In order to get 1 bar it needed a 2.5" pulley.

I now have a pulley off of an alternator on it using a larger key and bushing. It is ~2" IIRC so it is being driven 2.75 over or 16500 @ 6000 rpm - slippage. At this ratio I was running~18 psi.

I should note that I am at 5800 ft elevation and the air being compressed is thinner, as it often measures ~9-10,000 ft

so at like sea level you might be at like 21psi?

the M90 isnt efficient at all at those RPMs, in fact they recommend a maximum speed of about 14000...but i guess with a big enough cooler it could work..sid is the mule intercooled?

No, but I don't think it really is at those rpms

don't know what it would be but it would be faster that for sure.

Yes I have a 951 IC on it temporarily. They are good up to ~ 500 with turbo so probably ~ 400 hp considering the s/c is heating the air more.

The IC made a difference for sure, as I went only a 14.09 @ 98 w/o and a 13.55 @ 104 with it. My 60' wasn't as good on the 13.55 either it was a 2.23 vs a 2.07, so it should have went low 13's if it didn't spin.

Sid, what are you running as a fuel system, a rising rate FPR and larger injectors? or a different setup?

Firstoff the only way I recommend it is on E85 for any real boost

up to 12psi I ran just the 36# injectors from a ford supercoupe. This along with modifying the stock FPR (it is 1:1rising rate)

once i started running more boost i used a supplemental water/methanol injection using the windshield washer pump, water sprayer nozzles, and 2 hobbs switches that came on at 4 psi and 10 psi. Thsi was before the blower

I pulled 3 degrees timing via FQS switch.

However, I have found a much better way of doing it now,

I use a nitrous solenoid, fogger nozzle and a 15 psi hobbs switch on my 951 and I have ran well over 30 psi on it. This in conjunction with the 36 # injectors allows fro great fuel mileage and great linear power.

The gold car will have one fogger nozzle per cylinder so I can rally fine tune it. The current 951 setup has the nozzle just after the IC
