I always liked the Cherry Rot colored cars

has anyone done their car in flat paint? like flat red or flat black? just wondering how it would look like

OT but i met a guy at a local euro meet who had an old 3-series and he painted it with that home depot chalkboard paint...he carried a bag of chalk wherever he went so we were drawing on the car.

i drew a fatty Porsche logo on his trunk, put a BMW logo to the right of it and a > in the middle lol

Ruby red metallic

I've always liked this color. But, I think I want to go a little darker. I want it to glow like that but draw a little less attention. You know what I mean?....

Now, I know what 944's look like in black and silver. And I think I actually prefer silver between those two.
But I have never seen a maroon 944 (the maroon would match my engine) and I was wondering how well that color would bring out the lines of the car.

Also thinking about a REALLY dark red. So it looks kind of black.
Or maybe mixing red in with the silver to give it a tinted look. But, I don't think I'm good enough with paint for that.

I know I have made a few threads about paint colors in the past, but now it's time to do it. I just can't decide...

Anyone have an opinion?

I photoshopped my car flat black, I think it looks pretty cool... but I don't know that I'd want to do a color change on a car without stripping it of interior and mechanical components.

that is pretty sweet!! i've thought about going with a satin black...anyone ever seen any good pics of a 944 in satin black? BTW some of the reds above make we want 15 more 944 to paint all different shades of red

My 87 NA was originally Maraschino Red until the PO had it painted Guards Red. So depressed about that, and the local boneheads want $5000+ to repaint the car, any color.

Who was the guy on here who actually painted his car flat black? He was working on a sequential twin turbo setup...
