Default Talk about a buyers market

I searched "porsche" on denvers cragislist. With 12K look at what you get. Well one is over 12K but you get the idea.

77 sunroof coupe for 10500 in parker. Think he will take 8 in a month?
http://denver.craigslist.org/car/772645797.html

here is another 77 for 10500, only with 18k on the motor it was 11500 on june 29th

http://denver.craigslist.org/car/770334167.html

but for the same $$ I can get a carrera targa

http://denver.craigslist.org/car/769434297.html

here is an 86 with 66k. must sell, so how much lower than 18500?

http://denver.craigslist.org/car/764182666.html

78 SC with 105k for 10k

if i had the time to drive it i would. i spoke about it with somoene else already. i spent the last few days battling an allergy attack at family sports for the skating championships. my five year old took two trophies. i think the ice rink is where i am going to spend a lot of free time along with ballet, etc.
if the mommies were QT's i wouldnt mind as much.

'77 not the best of years.. White car has Burgundy which probably doesn't help, the '84 does look best if it's nice. Tom, you are in the wrong business, you need to buy and sell cars for a living!

ps - what ever happened to that low mileage M3 you were looking at?

And then there's the not so great bargain in our local CL...$8K/firm with $12K Kelly BB. And I thought smoking crack had gone out of fashion.

my coworker has it in his mom's garage where its been for years. one of these days he will do something. he is thinking new 335 XI sedan, and may use the M3 to finance a chunk of it.

I thought all of the 77 problems would already have been repaired like head studs, etc.

Jay, congrats. I bet you think your wife is a Q-T, mine is a Q-T, but some of the mothers out here are anything but cute.

Tom,
I saw an immaculate 951 for sale a couple of months ago in Denver. I think the owner was the rennlister who had a gold 944 stolen last year or the year before. Not sure if it's still for sale or if you want a turbo...

Thumbs up Quebec, Canada in the $5000 range

Hello!

Looking to trade in my 2002 PT* Cruiser Olympic Edition, manual, A/C with 46000 Km for a Porsche for daily commute.

Here's what we have locally in the Quebec, Canada area:

1. 1981 924 BASE 3,995.00 $ 149,000

http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...9&pgno=1&srt=1

2. http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...&pgno=10&srt=1

is a 1984 944 for $5000 with 117,000 Km

3. http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...&pgno=11&srt=1

is a 1984 944 with broken windshield and A/C, 15,000 Km and "reasonable offer"

4. http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...&pgno=27&srt=1

is a 1980 924S Turbo with 117,000 Km for $6K, "recent restoration" (trades?);

I'm not looking for a rich man's toy, in other words. If there's a local expert/mechanic, please PM me. (*Any advice appreciated, incl. how to paint the matte black protrusion on the front PT bumper (the back one is colour coded).)
Thanks!
George
