Default 15" Fuchs

My car has 15" Fuchs. I believe they should be 15x7 front and 15x8 rear. Correct?

When people rotate my tires they keep putting the back wheels up front and vice versa. It looks so blatantly wrong to me, but no one else seems to understand what I'm talking about... Can anyone give me a link or something where I can just print it out and bring it to show it to them what I'm talking about?

BTW, what size tires have you got on your 15" Fuchs?

Here's a picture of my car before the tires were rotated... And yes there are wheel weights on the outside of the rims. Don't get me started on that... causes theres probably 3x the amount of weights on there now!

Actually, all 944 fuchs have 911 part numbers other than the 86 turbo 16x7 and 16x8 fuchs.

Your tires can't be rotated. They're unidirectional, meaning the rear right could only go to the front right, which ain't happenin'. Don't rotate 'em.

Whoever is your wheel guy - don't visit him ever again.

Exactly. Wheel weights on the outside plus not knowing about directional tires plus not recognizing that there are 2 different width wheels on your car = total incompetence. You need to never go back there.....with any car.

Real men put their own tires on by hand. Then inflate them with their lips.

Stop taking your car wherever. They're probably damaging the wheels as well.

Also, using air tools and steel sockets on mag lug nuts instead of using a manual torque wrench and soft-lined socket. Use someone who knows these cars, or learn how to do it yourself, never use the tire monkey franchises.

Many people run the same size tires front and rear so that is probably why your mechanic/tire guy rotated your tires since he doesn't know that the wheels are staggered sizes. If you could, you can run a 205/50/15 front and 225/45/15 rear but most people just stick with 225/50/15 all around or the stock 215/60/15 tires.

How about 205/60/15? There seems to be a better selection in that size. Anyone try those at all four corners? A square shouldered BFG G-Force Sport in that size probably matches the tread width of a touring tire in the OEM size.

ok - just got my hands on some 15x7 & 8 Fuchs. Reading this, it sounds okay to run my 215-60-15s from my cookie cutters (so I don't have to buy new rear tires?)
