Do you not realize, Sir, that there is a very logical and sensible engineering reason why an owner would want to drive with spoiler extended at low speeds in the city?

 

Yep, spoiler up on the street is cringe. It's not attractive. I don't even do it at the track - I let it deploy as designed.

I do like the look of a ducktail. If that's what I was after, I would spec accordingly or find a tasteful aftermarket solution.

 

I chalk it up to personal choice, like decals and stripes. It’s their car, not mine. I do it rarely when the mood strikes and I don’t care what other people think.

But to be fair, I think the spoiler is kept raised regardless of speed or at very low speeds if the engine requires additional cooling -- maybe this person just came back from some hot laps?

Serious answer: I can see the top edge of it if I specifically look for it in my mirror. If not specifically looking for it, though, I do not notice it.
