Ahh.. good point on the coolers. I think we have 6 or 7 big big Colmans at work... I could fit a few in, along with the cat back I am bringing out.

Wow guys.. 2 weeks to go!! I think we're Ok as far as coolers go, we'll have a mostly empty fridge and a few big plastic tubs full of ice. Remember we'll be at a fairly big empty house. chairs, sleeping bags, air mattresses, tents, etc welcome. My rolling yard would make an awesome Bocce ball tournament, I've got a spec bristle dart board up (none of that plastic junk) and I think the lawnmowers will probably be running hard Sat eve. I figure fireworks (right up the road) will be super cheap just after the 4th, we might as well make some noise. Speaking of "right up the road" there is a "gentleman's club" 1.5 miles away for those who like that sort of thing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> . It is BYOB for a price. I hooked my backup PC to the backup stereo and I have the ability to bring MP3s to the yard. Bring your fav MP3s and CDs. I'm jazzed at the thought of 30 cars.. and thankful I have the facilities to host them all. If you really want to make my day, come early and ask me "what can I do to help?" I'm all for a big team of co-hosts! (Plus my wife is 8 months prego and I'd like her to relax most of the fest, OK?)

944FEST Route ALERT.. Attention all 944fest attendees. I was hoping I wouldn't need to post this, but it looks like a critical bridge 1 mile West of the fest site will still be closed for the event. The bridge is the 430/71 overpass. If your directions show Reed Rd or 430 Eastbound (to arrive) you will NOT make it. The Fest is on the SE side of 71. Be sure to exit 71 and 30 on KOOGLE rd and you will be fine. Reed Rd BAD, Koogle GOOD. I know some poor guy is going to get lost because of this, I don't know what else to do to warn you. Those arriving from the East on 30 or from the south on 71 will have no problems. Those coming from the West or North need to beware. If you have ANY questions, please e-mail me and ask. Maybe I should draw up a map of the detour just in case.

Chris,

Problem is still unresolved. If you do have a good spare please bring it. Also, do you still want 2 924S decals?

Maybe we can work a deal out!

Well guys, its looking more and more like I won't have a 944 by the Fest. I'm really disappointed as I figured I could find something I liked in the past couple of months. So if anyone knows of any nice 951s for sale, please let me know.

I will still be there though as long as Dan doesn't mind a Neon showing up.
