Ok Dan I plan on being there on Saturday July 5th with my girlfriend and maybe my buddy Matt depending on if his clutch in his 951 is repaired by then or not. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Hey, Pete, we could meet all of the guys that are coming up from the Cincy area or south of there(Lebanon guys, too) at the Centerville exit (Dayton Mall) at whatever time is covenient on Saturday. That exit has the best on/off access in the area before you get too far into downtown. If the southern Indiana people want to meet us there, too, that would be cool, but if they are closer to central Indiana then it may be better to meet them at the first exit east of the I-70/I-675 interchange. I have a big Porsche flag we can hang off of the back of Brian's car as he leads the charge northward......

Either way sounds good to me Wade. I'm ready to go. Well, sort of, my lower radiator hose got cut by the power steering pulley. I gotta get a new hose and fill and bleed this thing again.

Ok Cinci guys, who's goin Saturday, and who's going Sunday?

I would like to get a nice big caravan going, so I think us Cinci guys should head up to Dayton, then pick up 70 across to CLB, then up 71.

Hell, them Dayton guys have come down here a few times before, time to return the favor.

My plan -

9:45am, everyone in the Cinci area (and south) meets up at Tri County Mall (off 275 and 747). We depart promptly at 10:15am. That should put us in the Dayton area at 11:00. If we can get goiong from there by 11:30, we should be at Dan's by 2pm.

You Dayton guys need to decide an easy place on, or slightly off the 70/75 exchange. This will be the Central location for almost everyone who will be heading across 70 to get in on it. We'll also stop again to pick up the Columbus folks.

Sound like a plan?? (We can make this later in the afternoon as well, however, I would like to be there before 5pm)

I e-mailed you my RSVP last week, but don't know if you received it. I will be there on Sunday with 1 guest. Steaks please . I will also have about a dozen or so hats from my employer, which you can do whatever with.(they are nice hats, not the typical junk). Looking forward to it--and Perry, I will have my $50 for the cat-back.

How about this for Saturday: Cincy guys- take I-75N to I-675N to I-70E. It's a little shorter and more direct than I-75 to I-70.
We could either meet up at the Dayton mall or go up 675 a little to the Wilmington Pike exit. There's a Home Depot with a big parking lot right there we could hook up in.
There is a big truck stop just before Columbus on I-70 at (I think) Plain City. We could meet up with Indiana guys there.
Any other suggestions?

Eric.. Thanks for the great offer of hats, we'll make good use of them. I recently moved and getting my old e-mail working (the outbound portion, anyway) was a problem but I'm back to 100% now. Sorry for the lack of rsvp, I plan to get to them soon. Life has been a bit chaotic lately, living out of boxes and such.. Yea, I know..great timing.. Nothing I could do. I promise to have my act together for the FEST!

Some of you guys coming from the East should post a few meeting spots. Next week when there are more ideas, I'll toss up a page or 2 with all the meeting locations, directions, and maps.

Let's get this rolling so there are no last minute problems. I'd hate for someone to get left behind.

Waiting on some more parts. (Upper balance shaft seal, new timing and balance belt, turbo water pump, another dipstick). I have the whole car wet sanded again, and will start buffing it all out this evening. I hope to have it hit the road Thursday... just in time for me to leave town for the weekend. (not in it... <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" /> )

Hey, I just talked my gal into heading to Cinci on Friday night so that we can cruise up with you guys on Saturday. Unfortunately, we will have to leave kinda early on Sunday (no later than noon), so Dan, don't worry about food for us, but we will be with everyone on Saturday.

Anybody want to have a "pre-Fest" on Friday?

We should plan a 944 (and 968!) fireworks run on Friday. We will plan our drive time so that we get into town around dinner time, if anyone would like to suggest a gathering spot, and then maybe head somewhere for libations afterward.

As long as the weather cooperates, it will be a good time to be in a cab, eh?
