That is sitting outside the "Palatial Garage" a few years ago (when I still had the 928S and the phone dials on the 944 obviously). Waiting for Matt's sign to come in to cap off the garage and will post pictures of it later. Working on more downforce now, will race you later when I get it trimmed out and get the stagger right. By the way, Pete, I found that sunroof bag in the attic yesterday, will bring it for you on Saturday.

The more I read the more I wanna go...
Would anybody be able to help me tension my belts while I'm out there?
I'm around 2200 miles since they were installed now...I'll be at 2600-2700 by the time I get to 944fest...I dont want to push it past 3000 (which I would do on the way home)
(I should be getting the car back tomorow...but I dont think my mech will have time to tension on friday)

Dan, is it ok if my wife and I come up? Sorry to give late notice, but we thought we wouldn't be able to come until now.
I'll be ashamed though. My car looks like it should be in the junkyard comparted to Brian's.
Well, maybe not in the junkyard, but I'll be embarrassed.
As a long shot, does anyone who is coming have any brown leather front seats for sale?

If I was a betting man, I'd say 25 cars, 40ish people. I'm not holding RSVP's or anything, so it is a WAG.. One thing for sure, we'll have enough grub. I'm stumped on the Sun breakfast menu.. That may be a last minute thing.

Well, the 84 is about ready, cash is tight and we don't have any wipers. I'm still doing it though. I got wax for detailing the car, so if it decides to rain, I can wax the windows! I think the car looks the best it has ever looked in the time my mom has had it, still looks like poo. Maybe we can have a tech session on wipers, I'll volenteer mom's car! Wish us luck on the solo trip! Seeyas there.

gee, does anyone want to help me swap out a rear main seal on my '86 951 on Sat? lol
Seriously, I have my belt tension tools packed, so no problems there, altho space is VERY limited in the cab, so someone else will have to provide the basic sockets and wrenches.
Also, I have picked up some nice door prizes from Ian Riley and Steve Kaspar, so Dan, be thinking about how you want to distribute them (five items in total).
See ya Sat! I hit the road tomorrow am.
Regards,

Wow, guys.. As far as tools, were are STOCKED. Impacts, air, etc.. It is a two car garage, but we'll slide one at a time in so as to have plenty of room for spectators. I got a recent note from Wade, plus Scott's pledge, we are going to have some SERIOUS give-aways. I've got 40 steaks chillin, a 1/6th barrel of Dortmunder, about 25 dozen clams, burgers and hot dogs, pop, etc.. The weather looks hit and miss Fri/Sat, but Sunday looks great. I'll start the official setup tomorrow. Q's, probs, etc.. My e-mail may be limited.. call 419-589-3787 with any questions after Friday at 4.

I had a thought..Name tags with Avatars.. wouldn't that make the collection complete? It sure would tie faces and posts together.. I don't have time to sort them out and print..but it is a neat idea anyway. I plan on nametags, hand written..
