Default Clutch went out - thinking of selling the 951

Well, it finally happened. The clutch on my 86 951 completely went out today I've been toying around with the idea of selling it for a while, and I think this is the final straw. I'm going to replace the clutch and sell it most likely.

My question is, what car should I get to replace the Porsche? I want something small, sporty, reliable and with decent gas mileage (something better than 12 mpg like my 951.) Any suggestions? Thanks!

For a 951 to get 12mpg it would HAVE to be leaking!

It only gets 12 around town. On the highway it gets around 23. Weird.

I'm really considering a Miata though.

They're amazing, they are so small they handle amazingly stock, but don't corner as flat as 944's, I'm gonna work that on soon though
Did I mention parts are 3 times cheaper and more adundant?

i don't think I'll sell my 944 until I can buy a nicer porsche.....

with the 944 na I think the only expensive items are the clutch and timing belt. If those are done, it's pretty bullet proof. My car is 248,000 kms right now and it runs great and I drive it hard every day.

You are going to take a big hit selling a 951 with a bad clutch...
