Ummm... Liquid Sunshine....

Hey Doug, There is someone who brings a set every year (can't remember who) but bring your set as well if you got them. Better to have two sets than none.... You just have to watch out that Nelson doesn't mistake the $5 chips for his box of chicken McNuggets

Liquid Sunshine, Chicken McNuggets, and some poker.....

I am down. It was I who always brought the chips. But if some one else wants to feel free.

Man, I'm so stoked for this, and I get time off during the democratic national convention to be in Ohio, ride roller coasters, drive Mid-Ohio, and kick it with some of the best people on earth!

I just signed up. I don't think I am going to do any fire jumping this year-at my age one should know better. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and making some new friends.

Really??? Who's coming? I didn't hear ANYTHING about this!!!

Chris, Jim, Melissa..a lot of good names coming in late. Most EXCELLENT! This year is gonna be a lot different.. It will be nice to be in the middle of the stir-up-the-sheeit project instead of on the outside trying to keep it down!!

Oh right, like being head Gator driver for the 6 wheel ski slope after midnight slalom competition doesn't count as stirring up the doo-doo!

Or are we falling victim to selective memory lapse?

So moving to Ohio does have benefits... I will be closing on my house on the 15th... but my priorities are in place so I will be here on Saturday - guess moving will wait until Sunday

Cant skip this since it's only an hour or so away. If it's this close again next year, I may even do some of the track stuff - my poor baby needs some lovin' before she'll get some high RPM time.

I didn't get any doo-doo for those awesome gator runs. Thankfully there was something I'll just call a "diversion" in place elsewhere that made the matted grass less of an issue.

I would mention that as insane as that felt, those runs were pre-mapped, identical every time, and one whole heaping helping of fun. Vinny, I don't recall.. how many times did you ride along?

No Gator for Dad, you're right, but I am still reeeling from Travis' donut excursion, err Blazer stability testing and skidpad runs!

Many of us were noobs back then and there is absolutely nothing to fear. This group is the very best that Porsche ownership has to offer and that is with no disrespect to anyone else, except maybe the Cayenne or 911 folks who never wave to me when I'm in the S2.

C'mon down, you'll love it! (takes another sip of the Kool-aid and swallows a jello shot).

You didn't get the kool-aid OR try a jello shot. But the fest still holds a special father son bonding moment.

Remember the first time you saw me drinking and smoking a cigarette, dad? Back at the '05 Fest.. Ah, the memory.

Dad: ANDREW! What are you doing?!
Me (Cig in one hand and Bud Light in the other): Breakfast!
Dad: You don't need that crap, you need water!
Me: We ran OUT of water, this is the closest thing I could find!
Dad: What's that in your hand??
Me: It's a beer!
Dad: NO! Your other hand! You're SMOKING, Andrew!
Me: Well if you knew what it was why did you ask??
Dad: Your mom is going to kill me....
Me: So don't tell her!

The 944Fest is fully supportive and appreciative of family bonding moments.
