Everything is good. Below is the order status key.

Pending = I have not seen it yet
Processing = Payment accepted and hang tight ... your in.
Information Required = I have the Driver Experience form setup (not yet) and you need to fill it out
Complete = Driver Experience form filled out and you are all good to go.
On Hold = Something went wrong.. read the notes

I wish there was a whole team working on this but... its just me. The experience form should be up today?? I will update all the track drivers to the "information required" status and there will be a link there to the required forms in the notes.

There will be two forms. You you just submit online (driver experience) and the other you print and bring with you (tech). You can always log into your account on the registration page to check for updates (order status) if you do not have access to your email. I should have all the order status updates up in by tonight that will have links to both forms.

So, I saw that you guys let a Boxster in for the DE.... how about an M3 (e36)? A friend of mine would really like to go, but he is 944-less.

No, but he knows a guy who has a 944. Seriously, though, he's a good driver (used to race spec miata) and would probably make a good instructor if you're short on them... If not, no big deal.

Tell him to sign up. We should have plenty of space on the track with two run groups so its not going to be a big deal at all. And if he is qualified and willing to instruct, thats even better.

The experience form is done but I will put that out in an update on Monday after the 4th weekend. I have too much to do in the next two days and I will not have SSH access to the site over the weekend if there is a glitch.

The tech form can be downloaded directly from the NASA website in PDF format at the link below. This link will also be in the update on Monday but here it is now.

http://www.nasaproracing.com/images/..._hpde_tech.pdf

This form needs to be filled out and taken with you to the Fest if you will be driving in the DE. It must be filled out by a shop / mechanic that you trust. Since we have people coming from all over the US (and Canada), we can not require specific tech stations. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure YOUR CAR is ready for the track and all the items on this list are checked by a shop or mechanic that YOU TRUST.

Everything is looking like this is going to be one of the best 944Fests yet. Can't wait to see everyone again this year.

More to come on Monday. Everyone have a happy 4th.

Travis:

Would like to donate one of these posters as a prize for 944Fest. Let you decide the who and how.

This is an official poster produced by the Rothmans Porsche Turbo Cup series in the late 1980's. This is not a reproduction. Condition is like new.
Size: 36" x 13.5".

Or better yet - goes to the car with the lowest score achieved in the following competition:

Lowest lap time x concours score = winner

Think about it...

Or maybe for the guy with the best cowbell music. Yep, "Cowbell 2" is ready to go!!

would be an interesting scoring system... although I could see any competition involving lap times @ a DE going downhill VERY quickly.
