X-post edited to benefit the Rock:

Jager is purchased. Cuervo is purchased. Flammable vodka is purchased to supplement the fire-jumping. Goldfish are purchased.... for consumption....

Hey Trav, just checking last minute stuff. The tech form seems very basic, and it seems to give the responsibility to the driver to prep the car. I like it that way, but I'm just making sure I don't need a certified shop to sign it off.

Travis, don't know if others voiced this concern earlier and since I'm American, I'm far too lazy to use the search tool.

I'm a fan of tracking, and I'm registered to hit the track, but I don't own a race helmet to call my own -- since they're sort of required to go on, I was wondering if there were going to be loaner helmets available for the weekend activities. Are there?

.... Or is my bank account going to shed a tear in the form of a couple hundred bucks for a helmet?

I'm inevitably going to buy one sometime anyways, but since it's Monday, I need to know if I have to provide my own soon.

Hey Andrew,

You need a helmet and I don't think there are going to be any loaners this year ??? (anyone have a helmet for Andrew?)

I should have two by then. Both medium though, one with two different sized cheek pad options.

Any word Travis?

Andrew, since you did not kill me last year I will bring my spare helmet. It is old and does not have a visor, though it is SA2000 and will pass.

I owe you one!

... And if you're my instructor again I promise to not kill you again. Though I might spin once...

"Just drift the car out of this corner now..."
"Drift?"
"uh huh"
"DRIFT?"
"yeah"
*Tire Squeal*
"Oh.. Oh! no.... not that."

Anyone else see the schedule on the NASA site? Looks like we will have a lot of time on both Sat and Sun, though only one 944Fest group is called out. Is that just the advanced drivers and then everyone else is in the HPDE1, 2, 3 groups? Looks to be a fun weekend.

I will not be able to instruct this year due to baby constraints. Though the little guy and I will gladly watch and see how many times you can spin in Madness...

I'd say I'm not one to disappoint, but I know that unlike Nelson's, this place has concrete walls -- ain't lookin to do body work from a spin this time around! And I doubt they'd let us Ricky Bobby the inside field, so maybe someone else'll rise to the challenge and pull their back ends 'round and out through the turns!

Yeah Im confused, are we running both Saturday and Sunday on track? I thought it was just Saturday...I know 944fest has 2 run groups novice/adv but like DC states - it only mentions HPDE4/944fest, 3 sessions each day, 6 total...?
