Question Refinishing rims? How much?

If I took four rims to a place where they refinish rims, how much would it be? Just to repaint them and stuff.

I had my new turbo twists scratched by the tire installer and a company was sent out to my work and refinished them on site. They take off 2 wheels at a time and sand, paint, and clearcoat them in a large trailer. It actually has a paint booth in it and heat lights to dry the paint/clearcoat. They only break the bead on the outside and don't need to rebalance. The cost was covered by the offending installer but I asked how much and it was about $100.00 to $125.00 per rim. It only took about 2 hours to do all 4 and the car was ready to drive right away.

This company is a franchise and goes to car dealers, body shops, rental agencies, etc... and does all of them onsite. Do a search on the web or PM me and I will see if I can find the company name. Franchises are all over the country and may be in your area.

I had a place called like American Wheels or something in Anaheim refurbish 4 of my BBS wheels. They did a great job, they straightened, balanced, blasted, painted and machined the lips and they look brand new.

Was about $100 apiece.

I believe it was about $130.00 per wheel, silver lip, black center just like stock, that is anodised finish, not paint. they can do silver spokes with black background (early style finish ) or polished, what ever you want, check the website and click on the wheels. or give them a call.

sorry I dont have any picks at the moment, (the car is getting the rear glass resealed) I should have the car back next week, I can post pic.

you can see a little of the wheels in my avatar.

Tried to get him to do my FUCHS about 2 years ago. He took a message and never called back.
