I will throw down half the cost of the car for someone to buy it... all I want is the transmission, that's it. Hell I just want the 5th gear... see my sig.

I will pay additional for freight to ship the thing here.

Anyone?

That isn't that cheap, I've seen running need work 924's on craigslist around RI/CT/Mass for sub 500.. if it was inspectable 800 would sound good. Wonder what it needs....

true. Mine was inspected through last October, and would have been drivable when i bought it once i fixed the shift linkage. Then i decided to rip out the engine....

edit: suppose it helps to mention that mine was acquired for $600

I thought only the 88 924S trans had the short 5th

Best of my knowledge it is the 88 and up NA and the 87-88 924S. Turbo has a shorter one too but longer final drive.
