I think the real April Fool's joke is that you're getting 38mpg from a 951. You must be going downhill everywhere you go.

just get a new dd like a 1.5l honda i get like 30 something mpg

I just did this to my NA.
I get around 40mpg at 60mph uphill in 1st gear now!

Do you think I should do a write up and put it in the DIY section?

All the folds of the tape create drag. Gotta take it all off and apply it again smoothly.
Good point. I'm going to rip it all off and use clear packing tape. Won't get so many funny looks on the Causeway.

No offense, but this is ridiculous. You're ruining the perfectly good looks of a perfect vehicle. If you can't handle the fuel costs you need to put the car away and buy a civic.

You have a beautiful car and this just makes me sick to my stomach.

Put the car in storage. Please. Stop messing it up.

i know just work an hour extra every week. if you cant handle it just sell and get a grip

Forget the tape. Get some of that industrial sized clear plastic wrap! Wrap the entire car in that, and use the sunroof as a door. That alone will get you to prolly 45mpg!
