Default locking lug nuts

How do i break into the original locking lug nuts when the key doesn't work?

1) Get a drill.

2) Drill out the center.

3) Once the center is removed, pull off the cover.

4) Hidden underneath is a lugnut. Use a 19 mm socket to remove.

^yep. BTDT! Get a largeish drill bit, and it really helps speed things up if you occasionally tilt the drill bit over to cut with the side of the drill. The first one I did took me like 10 minutes, the last one took me 20 seconds. Keep the drill oiled/cooled like with wd-40. GL!

My best experience ever was having a lug nut round off (pos soft metal) and having to cut it off.

Try having the hex end of the lug nut break off of the rounded butt end still tightly against the wheel. So basically you have a nice round ring fully tightened deep inside the wheel bolt hole. Talk about pure misery trying to get that out.

we took out two of these by hammering on a 23mm socket.

i took a screw driver and a hammer- knocked the centers out in a matter of seconds and pulled the locks off.
