Have you taken out the small rod/pin (about 6 inches long) that holds the clutch release fork in?
Mine was a pain in the @$$ to get out, but it was what held me up removing mine.
steps 24 and 25 talk about it in this pdf http://www.clarks-garage.com/pdf-manual/clutch-01.pdf
for a visual its part 16 in this diagram

hope this helps

It looks like this.
Towards the bottom of the bell housing there is a bolt that holds it in place. Around the same place you can see the bottom of it, there is a threaded hole in the end. You can either thread a 8mm? bolt into it and grab with pliers and pull/tap out, or on the more top side of the bell housing there is a hole were you can see the top of it and the pin that stops it from moving up too far. From the top you can use a hammer and rod to hit it out.
I looked through my pictures, but i don't have any from my car. Maybe someone else does. Once you get this rod out the bell housing should literally fall off if you have the bolts removed.
Oh, and i would suggest replacing the bolts that hold the bell housing on before trying to remove the rod

Thanks, I appreciate it. I have been working on it the last week. I only get an hour to two hours a night plus being a student with a job... And it’s even my daily driver!

No problem. Sounds like me over the summer. I worked 40hr weeks, with an hour+ commute each way, and only got a few hours a night a few nights a week to work on my car. Being at school i haven't been able to work on it for a while and I'm going into withdrawals. Luckily its not my daily driver.
Good luck with the bell housing, hope the rest of your project goes smoothly.

If you go to clarks garage it will tell you what the diameter and pitch is of the thread is on the end of that pin. I used a stud and then I added two nuts to make a locknut and grabbed it with a pair of vicegrips above the nut to yank it out. Once you have that out the clutch fork is not attached and the bellhousing will fall off. Common mistake, so don't feel bad bro!
Good luck.
Good luck.

I always have trouble getting it to come off and even go back on. You basically wrestle with it for a long time, then suddenly it lets go and you have it in your hands, and you're like "that was easy, what was I doing all this time?"

Sorry he just told you everything. Even with my engine OUT OF THE CAR and banging my little stud / vicegrip getup with a hammer on the end of the vicegrips, it was still very hard to get out. Took about 2 minutes of whacking!

If you're having trouble you can also remove the reference sensors and unbolt the pressure plate through the starter hole. Then the PP+clutch and ringgear comes off with the clutch housing.
