How do you line the tranny splines up to t-tube splines?

Did you tighten the transmission bolts that go to the bell housing already ?
if so loosen them up a bit and the coupler will go on , then retighten.

is the trans lined up properly on the TT - sometimes the pins dont align and the tranny gets "cocked" to the side alittle. Try loosening the four bolts alittle and wiggling everything around until it lines up.

i guess the trans arrived ok?

It takes a few tries to get the angle just right. I had to get it to where it visually looked correct, then it would just bearly slide on (maybe half an inch). Then I moved it the trans slightly left or right and adjusted the height of the rear of the trans until it was easier to slide on.

The bolt on the coupler is pulled out. It just slides up but doesn't go over. The shafts feel lined up.
