Thumbs up If you see a "POORSH" from NY in Denver say Hi to me!

I just got the word that I am transferring to Denver in mid September.

I now have to cancel my october DE at pocono, and dont know if i am going to make Lime Rock in Sept (waitlisted anyway).

My brother in law is sending me the keys to the studio apt they have in downtown. Glad i didnt unpack my stuff from when we sold the house in May.

Load up on the Clinton/Obama/Edwards '08 stickers on your way... you're going to need them for self preservation.

Denver is a great town, Tom. You will enjoy it. Just remember the stronger effects that alcohol will have on you at that elevation

Only for a week or two. Let me know when you get to town, we'll have a GTG.

I'd be happy to hoist a cold one with you on my next visit Tom, you will love the roads out here but the altitude is a real HP bust.

Congrats on the new job!

right now i live five houses from the ocean. so i guess you can say I am at sea level. i pretty much quit drinking a few years ago out of respect for my wife (her ex....) so i think the effect would be about the same.

my start date is 9/17, so I hope to be settled in, and able to host something for my new porsche owning neighbors by the end of sept.

I love the scenery and water in Colorado, especially Vail. I hope you like to ski as the backbowls are awesome.

Tom,

When you get settled hook up with local NASA group http://nasarockymountain.com
We have nice little 944 group developing up there.

BTW Tom, we should have another greasy hot dogs and burgers get together before Sept. Cubby's was a nice choice last time. I could go for one of those big *** hamburgers again.

I took the air conditioning out of my car, hope its not to hot out..

917 seems like an auspicious start date for a Porsche guy
