Hey Everyone,
During the PPI for my new car, the tech found that the alternator cooling hose was missing. He didn't seem to think this was a very big deal. Was thinking I would get it replaced eventually...should I be more concerned?

Had the hose on my 944 but it was crushed pretty badly..so probably not much air getting back there. I just did an a/c delete but havent taken the hard lines out yet, so i cant fit the delete shroud on. No cooling hose..and being how lazy i am will not put it on for some time longer.
If you have a 951 and have the alternator in the stock location still, i think having the shroud at the least is a must to extend the life of the alternator. The heat from the turbo cant be good.
