I signed up yesterday for the track. My mom made the $200 donation as bday gift and college graduation gift. Lucky me.

Helmet bulletin- Great News!! I just spoke with the management at Nelsons regarding helmet requirements. I'm pleased to announce the helmet requirement for 944Fest 2007 is going to stay the same as it was last year. SA95, M95 or newer. Congrats to those who don't have to upgrade their brain buckets. I'd still like to encourage folks to equip themselves and their car with the very best and newest safety gear they can afford or are comfortable with. The bottom line, YOU are responsible for your own safety at my event.

Yes. I know it is somewhat backwards with the way PCA does it, but we aren't the PCA and if you are comfortable with it, I'm comfortable with it. Since we keep the 95 door open, I'm sure helmets will be available and reasonable.

FYI to those who are curious what it costs to get some asphalt to play on, I just got the bill for our track day. It is north of $4gs and that does NOT include the ambulance or insurance. Winslow, please pull some strings and get us the buddy rate!!
