I did a little more work to the site. The confirmation email titles now say "Track Confirmation" and not "Track waiting list confirmation." I also added some more form validation so whatever spam bot was hitting the site should be stopped and you shouldn't see huge lists of emails showing up in the track drivers list.
If anyone else tries to sign up and they don't see their name appear in the track drivers list, please contact me but I tested it and it should be working.

As always, it is sad to hear from those with regrets. Cory, any clue as to the location AFTER July?

On a lighter note, I'm stunned to announce I've already got 24 track registrants, and room for just over a dozen more. There is no doubt this event will fill up. If you want on-track at 944fest 2007, please register NOW!!

"At this time, track registration is open to front engine Porsche driving Rennlist Members only. If we are not full by June 10th, 2007 we will open registration up to everyone."

I asked last year about my M3 and it was a no-go Geoff, although your dads would at least be a Porsche.

He has to drive it backwards and put a water mister in front of the engine.

Dan should chime in on this... ??

When do things kick off on the 10th? Going to be about a 10 hour drive for me so I want to make sure I get there well before things kick off. Which day is going to be the track day?

OK, Everything is NOT set in stone yet, I'm still working things out, but for now the schedule and events look a lot like last year.

Friday, August 10th, we will do a High Performance Drivers Ed (just like the PCA does). We will have the track running from 8am to 4pm or something like that. Friday eve we'll have a sponsored cookout, a keg around the bonfire, and wrench and play. There is onsite camping (Thurs-Sat eves) hot showers, and restrooms nearby. Saturday the will likely be the dyno shootout, tech sessions, some sort of casual driving activity (tour, rally, scavenger, gumball 2007 what not) show car judging, a nice catered dinner. After dinner we'll give away prizes and settle in for some more bonfire. The event is officially done Sat eve, but folks can head home Sat night or Sunday. I always appreciate those folks who stick around for the Sunday AM clean up.

We have yet to decide where we will go next, it will more than likely be on the west coast still. Either here on the coast in Southern Oregon or the northern California coast. Wanted to ask you something but I'll send in a PM.

Take Care Dan,
Cory
