Default dual on a 944

Anyone have any pictures of what a 944 would look like with dual exhaust tips? Ie, one coming out normal one out on other side. Just searching google images for kicks and was wondering what that'd look like.

Dual exhaust? Could make CV lifespans interesting. At least the 2 inners would fail at about the same rate. Taking the transmission out could be fun too.

I'd like to run mine out the side, in front of the rear wheel using one of those NASCAR flat megaphone tips.

I'm sure you could if you didn't mind the possibility of seeing the pipe from the side of the car. And if you don't mind a warm butt.

As if there is anything wrong with a 944 with dual exhausts. A single coming into a muffler with a split case and duals has a considerably different sound then a single into a single outlet.

There are several 4 bangers out there with duals. Like this gorgeous auto...

Too bad they need to step up on that engine and have it actually make some power...

That little British bastard doesn't do anything until you're past 5k...re-tune time.

Lotus did everything they could with that little toyota four cylinder, toyota got 170 some odd horses out of it, for their celica GTS, and lotus ended up with 190! Now that is talent!

What the heck are you talking about?

0-60 in under 5 seconds. Power dosent matter when the engine is pushing around less than 2000lbs.

And they have stepped up on the engine, its called the Exige S. 218hp, super charged...and thats in a car that weighs less than 2100 lbs.

Being a car, it's meant to be driven. You can't just take it out for a pleasant cruise like you can in the 944 or most other cars due to how it's tuned. In an Elise, you need to gun it at every stoplight to get that 5-second speed or even keep up with traffic. Sure, the car is light, but making 20HP at low RPM will get it left behind by "only" a 944.

Hmmmm, this thread got out of hand.......

I also want to do a side exhaust "tire heater" style setup on my track car. There is a member here named "tarheel 944S", or something like that - that has an avatar like that. I will see if I can find it.......
