OH for Christ's sake. I can't believe many of you don't want to admit the Elise is a fantastic car, especially since it is THE epitome of the type of car Ferdy Porsche set out to build way back in the 50's.

Having driven one as well as ridden along w/ a few truly excellent drivers, I can wholeheartedly say that the Elise defies the laws of physics.

Oh and regardless of whether or not V2 says ****loads of bull****, everybody here needs to lighten up. There are far more tactful ways of letting someone know that they're waaaaaaay off-base, even if it happens to be all the time. V2, I would strongly suggest treading lightly when it comes to facts that you are unsure about. That is all.

ON TOPIC: I actually think that dual tips would look money on a 944, espesh w/ a 951 valence back there. Now, if the muffler was easily seen (like every S2K out there) it would look waaay to ricer IMHO. Have some stock dual tips and it would look sweet. Unfortunately, I can't imagine sound would be fantastic, given that every A/M dual upgrade kit I've ever heard has sounded crummy.

spend money for no gain in horse power . install a Y pipe next to the space were the gear box ends and spare tire well comes down from the trunk floor . run the pipe in that space , i would also make a heat shield for that spot sence its so close to the gear box . once the pipe is past the spare tire well use a 90 degree pipe then a straght pease of pipe out the back of the car under the bumper . under stand now ?

Btw, I have no idea if your post was directed at v2. I've just seen that "OWN3D" pic too many times on the internet, and I find it rather annoying.
Hey whatsup driftomagnifico, how you been?

The 944 board seems to sadly be turning into the average Civic forum.

Anyway, I think this looks outstanding, IMHO. Subtle and classy. Not in any way shape or form rice.

I doubt there is a Porsche owner alive who can say he's never spent money that didn't give him HP. Please.

i'm going to take a chance here and recommend that we actually talk about...well, you know... the topic.

dual exhausts, GO! i know it's happened before, in fact i've thought about it myself, but never bothered to look at whether or not the plumbing easily allows it.

Looks great IMHO. Especially like the idea of using the 2nd pipe as an open wastegate dump.

looks better with a split rear valence, but on my first 944 when i was at a shop, the owner wanted to put duals on it and i told him to go f*ck himself and get my car off his lift. 15 year old manning the welder burning holes in stuff, i think not

I think it looks great on the 968 but with the split valence it looks a little too busy in the rear for my taste... Just my 2 cents (minus Canadian exchange rate)
