Rennbay Big Brake kit Installed: impressions and pics.... +25HP MOD!!
Today, I installed my Rennbay Big Brake kit. I had my eye on ths kit for over a year and finally broke down last week and bought it. I ordered it from Travis, and it arrived VERY quickly. Everything about the kit is awesome. I could feel an immediate difference in braking. I would suggest this kit to EVERYONE with a 944 N/A!
Some installed pics.....
And now, the moment you've been waiting for......

I wish you could do that for all 4 calipers. IMHO it looks weird with 2 giant nice calipers and two teeny rusted ones....

It's especially worth it when you compare it to the alternatives!

I am going to do it. Add to the fact you can upgrade without the need to increase wheel diameter.

I do believe this setup will be on display and put to hard use at the next Fest. Trav has been gracious enough to give away a kit at each of the last two events. This guy is what sponsorship is all about!
(yea, yea, I know.. an announcement is forthcoming)

I put one of these on my track/race car last year and have been very pleased.
Jay, I order my pads from Rennbay because of their great service - they are Wilwood brand pads. Rennbay carries a couple different compounds. If you are looking for a track application and you have cross-drilled rotors, then I would recommend the "E" compound. The "A" compound was a little too aggressive and cracked my Zimmermann rotors.
