They make a HUGE difference.

Agreed, I tried running "A" and flat spotted the front tires very quickly. There's just not enough tire on the front of my car to handle that compound (no ABS as well; 225/50-15 Toyo's). Thus, I'm running the E compound on my track car and I put Hawk Blues on the back. That combination seems to give me pretty good balance.

Anyone have an update on these calipers? How are they now, since you've got them. Any problems? Just wondering because i've been thinking of upgrading my brakes. Just like any info before purchasing Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I understand how you can put these better calipers on the front and not upset braking balance. Assuming the factory braking system is balanced and then you put front calipers on that increase stopping power (relative to the old front brakes and relative to the original rear brakes), how can things still be balanced? I would think you would at least need an adjustable bias valve.

But still, the factory bias of stopping power will be upset by upgrading the front calipers.

Is there a way to put NA front calipers on NA rear hubs? That would be a bit of an upgrade in the rear to go with the upgrades in the front.

I wonder if CGT brakes will somehow work on a 944.

Why not just spend the money on a 951 and a big brake kit?

The ceramic brakes used to be a 10k option, and I'm sure that the CGT versions are larger than the 911 version. In fact, I think the Rotors alone are a full 15".

While Travis/Rennbay are awesome, and I love all the products I've bought from him, the alternative does look better.

$650 brakes on a $3000 car
or
Save $5000, sell the $3k car, and get a 951/S2.

Maybe my thinking is because I've daily driven the car for 3 years, and the honeymoon is ending after having a ride in a 951 and driving an S2 this summer...

If someone wants to keep their car, I have no doubt that Travis' kit is what a guy looking for more braking needs. The E-Codes and balljoints are everything he promises.

May look better from a car standpoint.. your dollars and cents diagram doesn't exactly show how it looks better though.

You haven't been on here enough to know that most of what rocket says is not exactly serious or sensible. Pretty sure he wasn't serious.. i hope.

You can use 924 NA front caliper piston+cylindrer, as the calipers are exactly the same, just uses bigger diam.piston.
