Default new dent!!! argh!!!!

Well, I've been out of my house for a couple days now, and the snow plows came out (finally). I've been rockin the turbo, so the 924S was sitting out.

Well, I come back and it's basically got a mountain of ice all around it.like, halfway up the doors. so I go take it out and put on those new belts and rollers that I've been wanting to do for a month now... then, it's off to the car wash. Oddly enough, my parents were there, and mom asks, "Hey, is that a new dent?"

sure enough, on the nose, on the left side, there is a dent about the size of my fist right above the yellow reflector. it has no missing paint, and no scrape, so I'm guessing that it's from an ice ball that was kicked up by the plow... either that, or a neighborhood kid using it for target practice with their baseball/ice ball throwing... but still. I've got liability only on the 924S, so it's not covered.

there is however, a chance that it could be taken out with PDR... and luckily, there is a PDR place right next door to my work... we share the garage. soooooooooooo.... that's lame.

on the plus side, it's clean, and with putting the new belts and rollers on it, it's running smooth as ever, and I got to try out my new 920x! (great tool btw, it's a 944 owner's dream!)

sucks dude, I just got a 920X too! Gonna try it this weekend.

Is it on the nose panel itself? Or on the fender?

Maybe PDR will get it out....

well, not really... the 924S has liability. I've got comp and collision on the turbo... so, though it'd have been a pain in the ***, the turbo could've been fixed...

but then again, I"m glad it wasn't the turbo just because I love it....

GAH! it's hard to choose which I like more!

Dent is gone! all it cost me was a bottle of Jack Daniels for the PDR guy. and on Monday, he's going to pop out the rest, and chock it all up to practice!
