Im going to be fully "modernizing" my interior soon. just curious what you guys have done to your interiors to make them more visually appealing (not that they arent already!)... Like dash kits, etc.

Post your pictures!!!

I like it bone stock. If anything - a nice Momo wheel or that leather dash recover job that one of the rennlisters is doing.......otherwise, there is nothing it needs.

CF trim
Momo MonteCarlo(with Porsche® crest horn button)
968 Temp gauge

Momo silver Combat shifter

But like sharky said. Do the custom dash, that is the real upgrade!

I'm getting momo seats, shift **** and boot, and steering wheel. Down the line I may also get a harness bar and harnesses...

I don't think my first goal has been modernizing the interior so much as making it more comfortable and a little sportier...

Alpine headunit, Sport Seats, Brey Krause fire extinisher mount, boost gauge. Next up is Clubsport steering wheel, 959 speedo, maybe better gauge lighting and a MegaView

Function > Form.

Altho I might get an Alcantara or true leather dash kit...

Hello everyone,

I think this thread fall nicely into my expertise and the perfect opportunity to introduce myself to you.

My name is Paul Champagne and those of you who sometimes venture in the 928 forum might have already seen my work.
I specialize in custom leather work for the 928, but I am slowly starting to do projects for the 944 family as well.
I do all the work myself in-house and since I don't job out the work to someone else, my prices are usually quite a bit better.

I would invite you to follow the link in my signature to see examples of what I do. I am open to extreme custom projects as well as classic factory style.
I do every single part of the 928 and complete interiors, including seats and instrument pod which is a complicated piece and a good gauge of the quality of work:

I recently completed a steering wheel restoration for a 944 member and he suggested I show it here. The wheel received a hand laced leather cover, I also made a French seamed leather cover for the horn pad with a laser engraved crest:

Please feel free to contact me through PM or email at champagn@stx.rr.com if you have any questions or want to discuss a project.

Sorry for barging in, and thank you for your time.

Paul

that's a damn nice steering wheel. Mine is not so nice....

I don't see anything wrong with the 85.5+ interior, I like it the way it is.
