Default Pics of airbag dash recovered in leather **Updated w/install pics**

Just got some pics from Rob M Budd of my airbag dash with his new leather cover and thought I'd share. It's supposed to arrive here next week and I hope to get it installed in the car in the next couple of weeks, more pics to follow. BTW, I didn't have an extra glove box door so I will be recovering mine with a piece of leather that Rob is providing.

See this thread for pricing and background

EDIT: Link fixed

Wow! So much nicer than the vinyl that originally comes with the car!

Thanks Kevin, just fixed the link.

I'm also having Rob recover my center console in champagne leather, I'll post pics of that when it's done next week, as well as some pics on the install and the finished product.

Man - that really is classy and I think it makes the interior look a little more modern and refined. Thumbs up! I may look into getting mine done......

What was the exact color you used for the bottomportion? It looks fantastic. Thanks,

The bottom half is champagne, same color as the seats, armrest, shift boot and soon to be the center console. I'm also going to dye the pleated part of the 968 door panels champagne to match. Rob offered to do those in leather as well but I think I'll try the dye first and see how it turns out.

I'll post more pics as things progress and thanks for all the encouragement and kind words... I'm going to need it when I start tearing the dash out!

That looks Outstanding. Out of curiosity is the airbag still in there or have you removed it permanently? Will an airbag still deploy the same with that heavier cover? None of my cars have them so I'm not clear how they go together. Anyway, Robb does some seriously nice work.
