IMPROVED visor clips!!!

IMPROVED visor clips!!!
I'm so thrilled with my latest discovery!
My driver's side visor clip shattered in the usual way. I bought a replacement and guess what... -it shattered the first time I tried to use it! -Bugger!
So while driving my VW Golf (MkIV) one day, pondering why the visors in that thing are as good after 8 years as the day they were made, and how they don't droop or sag, like the ones in the 951 or in my wife's Volvo do... then I looked up and looked at the clips... They were much better in that they have a metal spring clip. -If only they'd fit...
...if only...
So on a wild effort I took them off and made some comparisons...
Here is the VW one (in grey on my particular car) next to the 951 one, and the broken new replacement:
And guess what... they fit!!!
...NO modification required, NO strain on the plastic (the metal clip takes the strain) and a perfect fit! -There's even a snap-over grey-coloured dress-plate which covers the screws (not fitted in the pictures, but visible next to the grey VW clip in the first two pictures) that makes the whole thing look much more finished.
-I'm off to the VW dealership to get me a pair... in Black if they have them!
Anyone want part numbers? -They really ARE a better clip! Same length, diameter, pitch, taper & thread screws holding them in... same spacing, same standoff, a direct replacement that just plain old works better and won't break on you for no reason!

That is a pretty significant discovery bud - nice find!
..Someone bulk buy 100 and sell them out on rennlist.
PS- Krylon for plastic (which works very well) would turn that sucker nice glossy black in under 10 minutes.

For sure I'll post the part number. I'll be on the phone to my local dealership as soon as they open! Numbers, price and colour options will be posted here as soon as I get 'em, unless someone else beats me to it!
