Question Hosed off engine, went for a drive, now car won't start??

Okay yesterday I was replacing my brake bias valve and when I was done I figured I would hose off the engine since I had spilled a little brake fluid onto the heat shield below. I blew the engine off with my blower to get rid of the heavy water anywhere and then ran the engine to steam the rest off. I went for a 3 or so mile drive and came back, shut the car off. I came back a few minutes later and it won't start. I looked around at everything. I got a few seconds when it would start and die but now nothing. I figured something got wet so I let it sit overnight to hopefully dry out and this morning still nothing. I am definately getting spark, and I can hear the fuel pump coming on. What could it be I am out of ideas??

Could you have possibly blown something electrical loose while drying it off?

Pull the dist cap and check for moisture. Once the car has sat for a while (possibly up to a couple of days, depending on temp/moisture in the air),it should fire up again without problems.

There is probably water on one of the sensors. All it takes is a speck of humidity to wreak havoc.

Does the tach bounce when you crank the car?

take off the distributor cap, blow it with a hiar drier inside. perhaps blow the rotor area witha blowdrier too. hook it back up and try again.

Alright I pulled the reference sensors and cleaned them off, with no change. I just pulled the distributor cap and everything looked dry but I wiped it out anyways. I also pulled the plug boots and made sure there wasn't water around the plugs. Like I said though, I am definately getting spark at the plugs, and I can hear the fuel pump come on when I turn the key. What really baffles me is that after I hosed it off it started right up and I drove it around just fine on some back roads for a few miles. I get fire on the first try if the car sits for a while but then it goes back to doing nothing except turning over. I have it sitting outside in the sun with the hood up. Hopefully its just something wet.

Alright I cleaned the grounds on the back of the engine, cleaned reference sensors and connectors, checked fuel injector plugs, cleaned AFM plug, cleaned throttle body plug, and check the dist. cap and rotor and the car refuses to start. I am totally out of ideas.
