Sorry to hear that. I definitely know how you feel since i got my first Porsche, a 914 when i was 18. While i was driving my friend's father's SUV flat bedding my 914 from massachusetts to queens, ny. i was merging around rye in ny a freakin truck sped up while i was already in the lane and slammed into my trailer. The 914 was blue on a flat bed i'm sure even a blind bat can see it. The Bast*** didn't listen to me after he hit it and decided to back out and leave, his bumper went through one of the trailer tires bended the rim and pulled out his own bumper and wanted to blame it on me.
But anyways i got through all of that, the police report said it wasn't my fault that he damaged his truck because he wanted to leave. All bad things have a good ending, now i'm up on my 4th porsche, an 87 944S and i just turned 22 in december. I had 2 '72 914's, still have an '86 944, and the '87 944S
GOOD LUCK BRO!!! you'll probably have something even better next like a 928, 968, or even a 911 like i moved up from a 914 to a na 944 to a 944S.... I still love to have another 914 by the way. I love the car but it's just a rust bucket.
