I also need the a/c delete control unit, did you order that from Porsche or find a used one?

hey Sam,

I bought it from a fellow 'Lister in the UK that was gutting his 968 Club Sport and turning it into a dedictated track car. Keep your eyes on eBay, they show up there every once in awhile, usually in eBay UK or eBay Germany listings.

wow, old thread.

Thought I'd throw up some pics of an early RHD interior.

I was driving home late last week, thinking of what not to do and what to do to the 944 interior, keeping it as stock as possible. I decided to reinstall the original stereo that came with the car, which turned into a complete center console refurb.

I used vinyl/plastic spray on the console body and gauge cluster, with a satin epoxy enamel on the fascia parts. Over all happy with the job, only issue I had was the vinyl spray came out gloss on the gauge cluster and completely flat on the main console body (?) I had to polish it to bring it up to a satin finish. Black suits the interior much more than the champagne color from factory

And the original HU not only looks period correct, it sounds so much better than the Sony (sans amp) I had installed previously.

cleaning up some excess/messy wiring...

tested the unit to make sure it did work...

It really flips me out to see RHD cars...but I must say that your interior is pretty nice.

Thanks, I am lucky to be the second owner, so the car is pretty clean all over.

Only issue with RHD is the wipers still operate in the same direction as LHD, so there is a 'semi blind spot' when raining, top right of my vision - oh and the hood release is still on the left, PITA

I couldn't pass on a thread like this (regardless of how old).

My favorite silver rose interior picture (which I took before converting the car to a track car)...

The brown shades are kind of weird with a flash, it looks a lot better in person !
