There's another color you don't see much of.

I should really snap a pic of mine right now.

Not only is it the rare roof leak / UV damage blue rotted and torn material, but the steering wheel, gauge surround, glovebox, passenger kick panel, etc are all in the passenger seat!

immaculate, yes.

Here's my favorite interior upgrade ($5 cupholder from Wal Mart). It fits like it was designed for this spot!

Mine needs some work. Overall it isn't too bad, but not that great either. Seats really need to be redone.

Sadly it looks just like a black interior 944. I've never had a passenger notice that it was blue until I told them it was blue. Then they'll look around for a second and then go "No it isn't, it's just dirty old black."

It really is a beautiful color, though. It would be ideal if it wasn't so torn up. But it's come aways since I received it.

Okay this is the best I could find to demonstrate the color- see what I mean?

Comes standard with cute girl, though.

Watch the videos on this thread- https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=45397
the dash and glovebox door are also blue.

How do you like that radio? I've been considering it. Not thrilled about the chrome ring or red button illumination. How close does the background variable colors match the stock lighting?

I haven't taken recent pictures of the interior, but here it is when it's like 85% complete. The shift boot was a mix-up, I never ordered suede...

Here it is when I was still putting the carpet in:

Man if that shift boot was for an 85.5 on, I'd buy it from you!

Hi,

It's been a while... Did a post back when I did my interior... Completely transformed the car! It's a baseball glove type of leather.

Snake, that is unique and absolutely beautiful. I haven't seen anything like this for sale on the net so I'm assuming you had it custom made. Did you have the upholstery completely fabricated or are the baseball glove inserts sewn into the original material? I also like what you did with the shifter panel.

Also, how many baseball gloves did you have to kill? I kid.

GRS, thanx!

It's a custom job.

My mother actually had the leather for one of her interior design projects, which she decided to take in a different direction - so I scored the bolt of leather. It looks really striking in person.

The seats had a horrible and shredded vinyl recover owners ago. It would scratch your legs and poke the back of your arms with the jagged edges.

I found a local "hole in the wall" upholstery shop and he did an absolutely amazing job. He mirrored the original Recaro stitching and piping and replaced the foam where it was exposed. I did the rest myself. You can search the archives for my original post with more pics.

BTW, great avatar. Check out my new band, you will probably dig it!
