I think people forget there's more 944s in S. CA, ergo the price is going to be lower out here.

THAT is the color of my first 944, and if I had the money, I'd buy her!

Very very nice car! You'll find someone who'll give you the money you want... just be patient! Extremely well taken care of car. If you build it, they will come!

All, Mulsanne's car is every bit as clean as it looks (and as described).

Dave, Congratulations on the new baby and I'm sorry to hear that your selling your 951. -Bryan

Default for sale

Yeah selling the kid would not be an option although there are times I might consider it...........I just hope that I can find another one like this in a few years. I was looking for a 911 for a long time and after driving this I doubt I would ever consider a 911 in the future (maybe a 930 ).

The color to me is the best out there and seemingly very rare. The car has been well taken care of. The cruise is not even an issue for me personally would never fix it if I kept the car, the AC I would fix though.

The price is on the higher end, but I think this is a great car in really good shape, and I really do not want to sell it. That being said I cannot justify keeping it at this stage in my life unfortunately

Why don't you just leave the guy alone and let him try to sell his car. He may get more that what he thinks or more than what you think. Why does everyone got to be so critical of what others think or want to do.

Looks like a nice car - best of luck in selling and also with the new baby

I think I read somewhere that California is the 944 capital of the world, which would explain the low market prices.

Up here you could easily ask $18-$19k CDN for a car in that shape, 944's in good shape are hard to come by.

Heck, I should do that - just buy up 944s here and export 'em to Canada then! Great idea!

My dad just recently got his 88 Turbo S with 45k, paint has SOME flaking on the nose, interior redone in red leather instead of plaid cloth, which was perfect, dash was perfect, only thing wrong was the glove box guides were broken... $15,000.00

13k is a good price for a low mileage 51. But hey continue to low ball, I can start buying California 51s. LOL. Good luck with the sale, wish I could have seen it.

I paid less than half of what you sold yours for just a couple weeks ago. . . although after all the parts I've bought for it, and tax/registration, I'm in it probably almost 8k.

Here's a thread with some very recent comps. $13k seems ballpark for this car, although the non-functioning AC will probably be a hindrence (raises questions like, "why doesn't the seller just fix it? how much could this cost to fix? up to $2000? what else has he not fixed? why?" etc. that take their toll on a buyer's confidence and lead to some mental/emotional discounting for other potential issues).

POP, it looks like you got a great deal. I don't think it's representative of the current market, though.
