Don't plan anything for Memorial day weekend yet!!!
As some of you already know, I'm the events director for the local PCA here in Nashville. On Memorial day weekend, we will be having a large event with the annnual Eurofest. Each year, Eurofest has about 5000 spectators and about 300 registered in attendance.
We have planned some really great things for the Porsche side of the event. Jim Pasha, tech editor for Excellence, will be coming in Sat for a tech question and answer period. Jim is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and loves to look at folks cars. We will be have 2 other Porsche techs doing tech sessions on Sat also.
We will be having a dinner on Sat night for the registered folks.
On Sunday, we will be having a rally from the event site to the Nashville Superspeedway. This is the track that has the annual Indy car race and the truck series race as well as a Busch race. Once you get to the track, Phil Wix will be holding a DE event. There will be 2 sessions on Sun. We will also be having a autocross on Sun in the parking lot. You should be able to do at least 2 of the 3 driving events.
It is not confirmed yet, but I'm hoping to get Jim Pasha to come to the Speedway on Sunday to give folks some tips on setting up there cars. If you didn't know, Jim has raced Porsches in some form for many years. He even went to LeMans to help on a team, and use to drive a lot himself, and won a lot of races
We are having a link and web site constructed off of the Eurofest website that we to have up soon. But untill then, you can check out

I want to invite the entire Rennlist family. ( I want a ton of 944's to show!!). It will be a truly great weekend.
And to my 944 family, you are all invited to my place on Sat, for a GTG, and see the famous garage of 944 parts.

Three Wheelin'
Sounds great, Todd! I hope to be in attendance, and still regret that I was unable to make the timing belt session with Jim Pasha last July. As an aside, I am coming to Nashville this weekend. It would be nice to meet you, if you happened to be free. I will PM you my cell number, in the event that you find some free time.

Heck yeah! I'm in, too... altho I had to promise my wife we'd visit the pandas in Memphis to get her to agree... As soon as you have your details 100% finalized, let me know and I will post it on the KCWS site and see if we can get some other folks to come too.

Scott,
Good to hear. Bloodraven, just to come down, but not go to the dinner or the driving events, will be free to get in.
I have some pretty neat cars lined up also. I will twist Predator's arm to make sure he brings his car out. You guys really should see it, it is truly a wonderful car.
