Guys, it was great meeting you today! Sorry I couldn't make it to SC, but you can count me in next time. Cheers!

GT-Racer - Thanks for dropping by. That is one sweet car! It gave me goose bumps just riding behind it. I cannot imagine being behind the wheel. Also, I'm glad you didn't follow up the hill, there were some really big holes on this 1 lane road. I would hate to see anything happen to your baby.

Guys - It was nice meeting you today. I wish I would have been better at getting names/usernames so that I would know who you were.

I feel soooo bad that I did not make it today, especially after seeing the photos. I have been looking forward to being part of a get together like this for years, however, my girlfriend decided to pick this weekend for some big relationship drama. In trying to do the right thing, I determined that taking off for a car event would probably not be to her liking. At least my 944 has been reliable!!

Can I hope that we can have a get together again; maybe this spring? CA is loaded with great places to see and drive!

Don't worry, well have plenty of them in the Spring once it warms up a bit.

jbengfort - Don't worry about missing. It is probably better, in the long run, that you tended to your relationship. It's my understanding that they do this often. Don't wait for someone else to mention a run - if you feel the need, post it and just see who wants to join in. (That's what I did )

Phew; good thing you weren't there. Then I'd be even more upset over not being able to go. Lol, JK!

It was great to see everyone there! Our ride home up 1 --> Pescadero Road was nice...... until three of us got stuck behind a pickup truck that refused to yield (even after some honking and lights flashing) for about 20 minutes.

And our whole group almost got pulled over by a cop who was NOT happy with us. But a great time nonetheless. I'm hoping next time to bring both cars.

Yes, it was a lot of fun. Great to see everyone again, and meet some new folks too. I had this crazy idea at the last minute, leaving the first vista point, that I would pull out across the road and take pics of all the cars pulling out onto 9. Then you guys all pulled in behind me instead and I was stuck for a minute trying to get my camera stowed. Next time I'll say something ahead of time, or skip it. Also it was fun watching the P-cars scatter when the bear charged into camp

Looking forward to the next one!

Same reason why I am too afraid to do it again. Read the Malibu Run thread a while back on here and the great tragedies that happened on it I'm too afraid to do break my babies now too

Well, after holding the post-Thanksgiving NorCal Pizza Run for the past 5 years, I think luck finally caught up to me on this last one: NorCal Pizza Run Sat. 27-Nov.. I always kinda thought the mishaps always happened to "the other guys"... HAH!

Danno, Yesterday's run was very uneventful, aside from a minor bear scare... I think that your generous effort to clear rocks from the road was very successful!

I had the same idealogy until someone stole my moms car. "How is it that our car gets stolen...it only happens to other people!"
