Looks like the list of attendees is growing...good to see! As the newbie to California, I am loving the fact that I can ski in several feet of new snow one day and drive the Cabriolet (maybe top down) a few days later! Looking forward to a great drive!!

I agree; if the weather is looking at all like it might rain, we're out as well. Don't want a repeat of last time! Plus it was a pain to clean the car afterwards.
Hopefully we won't have that problem though!

According to The Weather Channel's 10 day forcast, the 16th looks clear. (Actually the 12th - 18th) Maybe we shook the rain for a while. The Weather Channel, www.weather.com has been very accurate when it comes to forcasts, so it looks like we are in the clear. The only questions now are, what are we going to do, where are we going to go, and how long will we be doing this? (P.S. Newbie here, this is my first run/gtg )

You can put me down as a possible. Although my wife is expecting our baby any day now, so if the baby makes an appearance before then I dare say I'll be busy!
Jon, is that my car in your avatar picture from a gtg last spring time, although there was another sapphire metallic there that day also. I was the english guy who was there with my wife.

I'm also a gtg newb. Hopefully the weather will be great (or at least dry). BTW if I can't get the car insured and registered by sunday I'll have to bring my mom's gold 944.

I think that was the other guys blue metalic in my avatar. I need to change that avatar especially since Jerry W told me how fast we were going. Don't want to encourage that kind of behaviour ya know!

Let's get a plan going here. Here's what i propose: Meet at Dmitry's at 9:00am on Sunday the 16th. Head up towards the hills (Dmitry, do you have a route near you that goes to 35?). Head towards either Halfmoon Bay or Santa Cruz, then end up at a restaurant or bar in either town. I could do either.
We need to get these plans solidified ASAP so I can notify people on the other sections (993, 996, 968, 911, 914, 928, Boxster, Cayanne, etc..) and other forums (986.net, NorCal928users, etc..)

Sounds like a plan to me. Father2Nate - Would you like to take care of the sway bars after the run?
I think we should just take Hwy9 all the way to Santa Cruz, and eat at the Seabright Microbrewery. Did this run a little while ago w/ Serge, Danno, Steve Cooper, and a couple others - some terrific roads.
I think my car will be staying in the driveway - I'll hitch a ride with somebody else.
