NorCal Pizza Run Sat. 27-Nov.
Ok, looks like that time of year again!
WHAT: It's another post-Thanksgiving NorCal Pizza Run !!!
WHEN: 9:00 AM, Sat. 27-Nov.
WHERE: Union-76 gas-station on the corner of Big Basin Way, Saratoga, Saratoga-LosGatos, and Saratoga-Sunnyvale
WHO: anyone and everyone!
ROUTE: North to Half Moon Bay
Here's a map to the meeting place and route:
Figured we can take a northern route this year since we got turned back twice trying to head south. This will also give the northerners a head-start on their trip home.
0. Meet at Union-76 station in Saratoga at bottom of Big Basin Way. Head up around 9:30-10:00am
1. Hang out at top of Big Basin at parking-lot on left, wait for stragglers.
Head up north on Skyline,
2. stop at Alice's to regroup and hang out
go north again, and take left on Tunitas Creek Road,
3. wait at PCH Hwy-1 to regroup
go north on Hwy-1 to Half Moon Bay
4. Meet up at a pizza joint or brew-pub for lunch. Probably one of the following:
- Round Table Pizza (instead of Straw Hat, we ended up at Round Table in Mountain View 2 years ago)
- HMB Brewing Co.
- Ritz Carlton
Planning to attend:
- Danno & bro
- Bill if we get his MAF certified and smogged by the State
- ibdavid (David)
- 2Tight (Steve)
- Sweanders
- Nicole

Just got through tuning Bill's car for 22psi. The Zeit wideband unit is nice, too bad it only datalogs relative to time in a strip-chart rather than vs. RPM so you can print a dyno-like chart. But you can slice the strip-chart into chunks to analyze.
Too bad the DMV's not open today (nor the smog guys). Anyway, he's got a prior engagement to see a roller-derby finals or some such contest. We'll see the madman next time!
See you guys in the morning, who's bringing DONUTS!??? I guess we can just walk across the street to the Sheriff's station and steal some of theirs...

Quite a morning. Good turn out for bad weather... It started murky, and got worse for me. There are a number of stories to tell, but I will let the others tell their own. My car is not feeling well at all...electrical bug somewhere once again...also, dead alarm-remote batteries...and, while I was trying to patch it up on the side of the road, I saw F@#$%^&ING oil in my coolant tank. Are we having fun yet? These two pictures sum up my day (and some others)...
