Default I DROVE A 951 LAST NIGHT!

well as the title says, i finally drove a 951 last night. for some reason "DME" (Dan the man) had something come over him and let my lead foot get in his car it was NICE. man when that turbo spooled up and kicked in, my butt dyno had a great time . thanks again to dan. but i think i'll stick with my 944 for now

yep, the 951 is definitely a thrill ride. i had autothority chips in mine (was a '86) and that thing was fast as hell. i really miss it and regret selling it.

I'm parking mine for today (raining here) so I drove the n/a. It needed a "wash" more anyway and plus I trust it more in bad weather (the turbo won't get you into trouble on wet roads). Maybe tomorrow. . . we'll see. . .

Welcome to the world of forced induction - why do I get the feeling there will be another 951 owner among us shortly?

I drove one yesterday too! it was on the track...and it now needs tires.... but OMG so fun....sooooo very fun....

Put my dad's Lindsey Racing stage I intercooler on it, there is a 60 degree drop on air temp between intake and exhaust of the intercooler (temp taken on the surface of the pipes). it is PHENOMINAL!

Hey Jake
Glad you enjoyed it. I have no intention of leading you to the dark side. You've got a great looking 944. Wish mine looked as good, inside and out. Nice sounding too. If I'm not mistaken, I think you might have opened it up a little over on Glade or Euless Main??? It was great to meet you. Be talking to you soon.

Wow, 60 degrees. After 'tuning' the boost controller I felt the intercooler pipes on our car and they were really cold. It was like cold aluminum on the cold side, and the hot was really hot. I'll have to measure the temp one of these days.

You can't have that n/a parked out there ALL ALONE now can you??? It needs a friend.

That's how it started for me. . . The rationalization that is. No regrets.
