I just posted these in another thread, but I really wanted to post them in their own thread.
I was a great fall day today in Ohio, had some work to do on the car, and afterwards, instead of washing it I decided to blow that off and go for a drive.
This last pic was taken in the same spot, almost exactly a year ago. You can tell I've been busy.........

I spent 3hrs today trying to water blast off the baked in tree sap at the sack-o-suds and then clay bar the crap out of it under the same SW Ohio sun Tifo was under. My car looks like its been pelted with raspberries and it wont come off. I tried everything short of some industrial strength rubbing compound. My fingernail wont even get some of it off. My paint sucks. Need new paint. Are you listening XSBoost....

LOL Harry! I've had the Fuchs for a long time now. They are my favorite set of wheels.
The splitter is off right now, I grew tired of rubbing it everytime I drove over a pebble. I'll put it back on for special occasions only.

I just love Tifo's car ****. Just makes my day, Tifo. Your car is like soup, man. It's good for ya...
On a totally unrelated topic, I saw a REALLY cool show on the Ohio blues scene; specifically the history of the Hines Farm. I had NO CLUE Ohio was such a player in blues music. Between that, your car, and the electoral college, my view of Ohio has nearly tripled.

Harry, can't say that I'm a bluesHOUND, but I'm a sucker for music history and the like. Last night, PBS ran a special on Hank Williams (Dad used to blast Hank 8-tracks on road trips when I was a WEE lad), and then followed it up with the special on Hines Farm. You guys are fortunate to have so much history in such a cool scene. They just tear **** down here in Houston after it reaches 20 years.
More musicians in Texas were inspired by the old school blues set. Stevie Ray Vaughn would be the obvious choice (and personal fave), but I've seen the old greats in concert and LOVED it. One blues pub here in Houston ALWAYS has the sound up to ear bleeding volumes. It's an awesome place.

PS- Harry, we oughta stop this hi-jack. Tifo's might get bent about anything detracting attention from his car's kick-assness. We should be so ashamed. Face Stuttgart and say five "Hail Tifo's!"
