.......let me add:Mine is always on because I have been backed into twice in my work parking lot (pretty amazing because I only drive it to work once every week or two). No one has owned up to it. I figure the next time someone does it with the tow eye on it's "gonna leave a mark"
, and then I will ID the culprit.The other reason is it teaches people not to brush up against the front of my car as they walk by. I've had a few people complain "I walked by your car and whacked my knee on that metal thing!", to which I reply "Well then, you were too close.....might wanna be more careful next time"

Damn Tifo! Thats great! HAHAHA! Thats why i always stay way back if i park on street parking facing into a sidewalk! People park their cars hanging like a foot over the curb and pedestrians just seems to bash into them with bags, etc... Its rediculous!

Tow hook is pretty easy to install
1. remove cover
2. screw in hook
3. drink beer
On my track car I leave mine off untill after morning grid tech. Despite my painting it bright yellow, the guys still bash their knees on it all the time

Actually, if you don't have a cover and leave it in all of the time, you can proceed directly to #3. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
