OK, so the head cover is normal? I don't have one, never noticed it (or lack of it) before. Is it an NA thing?

It's the stock 16V valve cover. The S and the S2 have them. 968 is similar.

Tow hook always on serves two main functions-

1. Warning to those backing into you in a parking lot
2. You get towed often and like to be ready

As a member of the "tow eye is always on" club......... .......let me add:

Mine is always on because I have been backed into twice in my work parking lot (pretty amazing because I only drive it to work once every week or two). No one has owned up to it. I figure the next time someone does it with the tow eye on it's "gonna leave a mark" , and then I will ID the culprit.

The other reason is it teaches people not to brush up against the front of my car as they walk by. I've had a few people complain "I walked by your car and whacked my knee on that metal thing!", to which I reply "Well then, you were too close.....might wanna be more careful next time"

Do they make one of those that's about six feet long? That would be a good buffer zone.

Id like a toe hook. Tifos looks pretty cool. He tracks, I dont, but still, I want to leave ppl with a halfway decent impression that Im in-the-know. Is that a big install.

Can I make mine a camel toe?

Tow hook is pretty easy to install

1. remove cover
2. screw in hook
3. drink beer

On my track car I leave mine off untill after morning grid tech. Despite my painting it bright yellow, the guys still bash their knees on it all the time

Actually, if you don't have a cover and leave it in all of the time, you can proceed directly to #3. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
