Taylor,
I have always loved the 931 NACA duct, and there is some "hot rodder" in me as well. So i took a 931 hood cut the duct out and put it where it fit and might still do some good. It blows right at the heat shield that surrounds the brake master. I figure if it cools the master cylinder a little I won.

I also think it looks pretty cool where it landed. I just wanted to do something to set my car apart from everyone else, and would not be easy duplicate. Attached is a picture that I think Kurt took at 944Fest '04 where the car won The "Host's Choice" trophy, or as someone said, "the car I would most like to steal".

I know I would steal it if my key fit. Winslow- she's a beaut- dead sexy and dead fast.

I STILL want a turn in the drivers seat of Luis's 951 cab.

Hey do S2's have it? Or is it just us hairdryer types?
The N/A has one under the left rubber cover next to the light. S2's have them in the same position.

And on second thoughts it's under the right one..

Btw, get another tow eye and put it in the rear one as well. That's how the turbo Cup cars are equipped.

I want that factory tow bracket that is on the 87 thru 89 cup cars that attaches to the passenger side rear bumper shock (like on seb's car). It's a part that is NLA, I can't find it anywhere. Thoughts?

(my euro rear bumper is the lighter, no-frills 931 part that has no provision to screw a tow eye into)

I think it was the same on the earlier cars, it's not turbo Cup specific. I had a tow eye in the same position in the '84 N/A as well.. Can have a look at the 86 later on.

You can see the bracket that I am talking about here in this pic, it is different than the eye and socket set up that you are thinking of.......

Here's another shot, you can just barely make out the eye on the cup car on the left.

(I like this shot, it shows the ride height difference between a cup car and a stock euro 951)

Here's a shot of my cars rear tow eye.

I thought it was the same as the stock one.. But apparently Porsche changed it from my car, maybe it was a prototype after all.
