doesn't matter whether it's "dressed up" or not, that takes an amazing amount of artistic and mechanical talent to accomplish!! wow, i'm impressed.

Dont applaud. Throw money. That is amazing craftsmanship. And by the way, to the untrained eye, that IS a ferrari.
As for those who posted negative comments....wow; youre idiots. Oh, dark lightning, it really is ironic that you're stating your own flaws in your signature.

I've done some custom body work, and some fiberglassing, and I have some serious respect for what they did. That is absolutely amazing!
I wish I had the skills they had.
My hat is off to them!!
Reminds me a little bit of that really strange looking 944 that some guy in europe made, he made up a whole body kit for it. It looked friggin awesome except for the front valence.

I applaud these guys' amazing job at making the replica, as it, just as the true F50, is a work of art. However, putting Ferrari badges on the car is going way too far, and I would not be surprised if Ferrari were to sue them in order to have these guys remove them. There were only 349 F50s made, and it is not only presumptive and disingenuous to put Ferrari badges on the car, but, to me, it is just plain wrong. This is not Ferrari F50 #350, no matter if those Ferrari badges stay on the car until kingdom come.
Although this is a beautiful replica, it is not a real Ferrari. It doesn't have the heart and soul of a Ferrari; it can't. It doesn't have the heart of a Ferrari because it doesn't have a Ferrari engine. (Although the NSX has a nice powerplant, it is a far cry from the 500+ HP producing V-12 of the F50). It doesn't have the soul of a Ferrari because it wasn't crafted in Modena, the place where Enzo's spirit now roams.
I suppose I am a purist, but I also am not a big fan of Porsche Speedster and Spyder replicas. Sure, they look great, but they are not really Porsches! They weren't built at the Porsche factory. They weren't painstakingly handcrafted by those workers in the early days who gave it their all to create something special, something that would stand the test of time.
Back to the topic at hand: the Japanese have long been adroit at copying German and Italian carmakers. They do an outstanding job, and their quality is admirable. This is one more example of that. Again, this is a fine replica, absolutely beautiful, just like the original F50 that inspired it.
