Why do you have to have a power bleeder? It can be done the old fashioned way without spending anything. My jackstands are in use at the moment holding a car up, sorry.

It's not absolutely necessary, just makes it easier. If you're replacing the slave cylinder, the bleeding thing can be made easier by filling the s cylinder with fluid before bolting it on. New cylinders usually come with small plugs in the hydraulic connections. Get a syringe and use it to put fluid into the cylinder, attach the hose, fill it with fluid, reverse the dust plug that came with the new cylinder to keep the fluid in the s cylinder and hose. Thread hose up to clutch master, bolt on s cylinder, remove dust cap, attach connection to clutch master. If you're careful here, it will eliminate much of the problem with air in the system. There are less expensive vacuum bleeders out there, check at Auto Zone or a similar place. They have them for about $35.

. Its just funny to see a small town look like it has a Porsche dealership.

How do you get to 52 from 85 North, don't know whether this is obvious or not, just curious, also anyone else coming from Charlotte that want to caravan up there?

Actually, 52 and 85 are the same from Salisbury going north to Greensboro. 52 splits off about a mile north of the Yadkin River bridge. From Charlotte, it's about an hour's drive to Rural Hall.
Coming up 52 N-
Go to exit 118- NC Hwy 65.
At the top of the ramp, turn RIGHT to go into Rural Hall
From the turn, go to the second light, about 2.4 miles.
The second light is the intersection of NC Hwys 65 & 66 (downtown Rural Hall)
Turn right at this intersection
Post Office is about 1/4 mile on the right.
Be there at about 8:30, we'll deal the first card of your hand then!!

Ok guys- ran the route again today. No icy patches as of today. IF the weather smiles on us and doesn't take another frosty crap on the roads, we're set for over 100 miles of sway bar twistin, rubber grinding, brake checking, gas burning fun. Hope to see a decent turnout between the PCA, Ferrari Club and Rennlisters.

Hey Brian, tank tranny is almost off the design board and into reality. With the help of a micro controller it should be able to shift gears and activate the 2 clutches needed. I'm machining (or trying to start) a new crankcase for the 4hp chainsaw engine. With the 'controller I should be able to get '1 stick' driving of the tracks freeing up servos for other more 'interesting' things!
Now O/T. the route for the drive is great. Some roads are so curvy that the state would go broke trying to put up 'twisty' signs. My F-150 squeeled the tires a few times in the turns (not hard to do granted). Might want to do some kind of steering workout to get ready. At speed you'll be going lock to lock and back again faster than you can blink (but don't because in a few places if you do, you might be taking the 'scenic tour' when you open them again!).
