Default Cracked the batwing - best adhesive to make the repair?

I have about a four inch crack in my batwing. It's a clean crack that I think would glue up nicely, but I don't know what adhesive to use. Has anyone tried this before?

Superglue and bicarbonate soda,
close gap, lay on a bead of superglue overlaping both sides, then sprinkle on enough bi-carb to absorb the glue, you can repeat these steps as many times as you like,

I have found that superglue is not great at resisting twisting type forces, Most repairs like this, I am using gorilla glue now.

Yea I would recommend something more flexible like silicon glue or something like that

zip-tie stitching probably more durable in the long run.
there is probably a label on the batwing somewhere denoting the type of plastic its made from, ABS, PP, etc.
look for that marking and you might find that solvent or heat welding will work.

I tried finding the marking, couldn't find anything. It appears to be a urethane or polyurethane part. I tried plastic welding to no avail. These urethane based plastics do not melt like normal plastics since they are made by mixing 2 parts and letting it set. There is a way to repair them, it's similar to brazing, but it's expensive to get the correct setup just for 1 repair.

The superglue reacts with the bi-carb to create a very hard resin type substance which you can hit with a hammer and wont break
It is basically this https://www.ewelders.com.au/qb2/?gcl...RoCNWMQAvD_BwE

That's a cool trick with the bicarb soda, I will have to try that some time.

My batwing is just stitched up with zip ties.

Any repair to cracked plastic should begin by drilling a hole at the end of the crack This will keep the crack from spreading if your rep air method fails.

Just an update, finally I have found superglue and bi-carbs limit, It's no good for this repair, I'm going to mechanically repair it with bonded/riveted repair panels,
